THE BEST PLACES TO SELL YOUR BASEBALL CARDS.

In this article I will be breaking down the best places to sell your cards off eBay so you can save on a lot of those fees and you can get your cards sold quite fast.

Make no mistake about it, eBay is where the majority of buyers are! eBay is the place to get the most exposure to your cards, and the place we recommend that all new people start selling their cards!

However, as you get into the hobby and start selling cards, the more places you have to sell cards the better.  As your business grows and you start selling higher and higher price cards, the fees collected by eBay will become more of a consideration.  At the current time you can figure about 10% of the sale price of a card is going to go to eBay for fees.

Not that big of a deal if you sell a $30 dollar card, but when you start selling a $3,000 dollar card or a $30,000 dollar card it can make a major impact on your bottom line.

So for that reason I want to share with you some other places you can sell your cards, were you pay less fees.

The first place is one of my favorite, especially for buying cards and that is

#1  FACEBOOK GROUPS

Facebook groups are a great place to buy and sell cards with no added fees. Payments are usually made through Paypal or Venmo. There are several Facebook groups to buy and sell cards, some with 20,000 – 40,000+ members, so they are a great way to get your cards in front of buyers!

Here is a sample of the latest add I am running to buy Rob Dillingham cards on Facebook.

You can develop solid business relationships with other collectors.  Overtime you start to understand the cards that each other are chasing, and can help each other out.

#2  MySlabs.com

MySlabs.com is a place where you essentially eliminate seller fees it’s an incredible platform you have one percent seller fees.

All you have to do is you sign up and then you go ahead go through a seller application. They just want to make sure you have some experience selling cards.

If you sell a $4,500 card on My Slab your fee would be $45.00.  If you sold the same card on eBay you would be paying around $450.00 in fees.

You will find a lot of great buyers & sellers on My Slabb. You have protection, when you buy your protection as a seller there’s no refunds. With eBay obviously there are refunds. If the truth be told, there are some buyers on eBay that act more like gamblers.

If the card goes down in price these unethical gamblers may attempt to open a refund case on you.

That’s not the case with My Slabs or Facebook Groups, if you do it the right way.

So MY Slabs is definitely a great place to list  your cards if you’re selling a $55.00 card you are only paying 55 cents in fees instead of $5.50.

It may be a good idea to post your higher priced cards on each and every platform. When it sales you simply remove it from the other platforms.

It is a numbers games,  you might as well get the most people looking at your card as possible because that’s the highest chance of your card selling.

#3 STOCKX

For graded cards, StockX is an option.

The best thing about StockX is there’s absolutely no returns.  After the buyer has bought your card there is no backing out regardless of if the card tanks. It’s all anonymous, sellers ship it to StockX where they will authenticate it.

As soon as it’s authenticated, sellers can sell to the highest bidder. StockX does have some steep fees, they work out to be between 7% – 10%, depending on the card.

With StockX, you don’t even have to post pictures.  It is a very convenient platform to list cards.

StockX products in general sale for a little more than they do on eBay, especially cards that are not graded 10 gem mint.

eBay is simply not the place to sell ungraded cards or graded cards. So I definitely recommend StockX  for ungraded cards.

All these places are great to sell cards.  The more eyeballs you have on your cards the quicker they will sell. IT’S A NUMBERS GAME!
